<itunes:summary>We started creating the show in the summer of 2007, and now 2 years later, we are announcing the first Fat 2 Fit Social. This is a chance for our listeners to meet us and get to know the real us in a casual setting.

We already feel like we know hundreds of our listeners who have sent in emails and told us all about themselves and we would like to meet you in person. Its really weird that so many of you have shared so much about your lives and we have shared so much ourselves, but we've never met or had a conversation - so let's change that.

We will be hanging out at Islands Bar and Grill in Long Beach California on Wednesday, July 15 from 7-10 pm. We're buying the appetizers so bring your appetites. Healthy appetizers of course. So if you happen to live in the Los Angeles area or are going to be in California on July 15th on vacation, we would love to meet you.

This may surprise a lot of our regular listeners, but myself and Russ still have never met in real life. We have recorded all of our shows and chatted with each other for hundreds of hours over Skype in the last 2 years, but we have always been 1600 miles apart. We will be meeting each other for the first time only a day or two before the Social.
