		<description>Drs Ed Fox and Don Mathews of the Ohio State University developed this technique during the middle 1970&#039;s as a result of funding from the US Air Force.  Coach Woody Hayes switched to this technique after talks with both the researchers.
I was in my middle 40&#039;s, at the time, and could only do 25 push ups in 1 minute.  After switching to the new technique within 1 month i could do 100 push ups in one minute.  i broke the exercise into 15 second intervals and then rested for 1 minute, but only excercised a total of 60 seconds. how about that.  i am now 78 yrs old and still following interval technique.  this is, in my opinion, the best way to exercise.</description>
