Fat 2 Fit Show #27 – The Phenomenom of Weight Loss Blogs
TweetWritten on April 17, 2008 – 11:36 pm | by Russ Turley
There are countless blogs out there on the web. Finding some good, quality blogs that are dedicated to weight loss can really help people out. The ideal weight loss blog to read is from someone who you can relate to. As you share their weight loss journey, you can see what has been working for them and what hasn’t. You can then use them as inspiration in your own journey.
The ideal way to get the most out of weight loss blogs, is to participate. Leave comments on blogs and let the author’s know what you think about their posts or even their progress. The nature of blogs allow the readers and the authors to easily communicate with one another and form a community. Of course, if you find them inspirational, you can always create your own. We suggest to use WordPress to create your blog. It is free, very easy to do, and you will have a professional blog up and running in a few minutes!
Jeff’s news item this week is about a reporter going on a yo-yo diet, on purpose. She gains weight one week and then loses it the next. Does she accurately simulate what it’s like to be a yo-yo dieter? Russ’s article asks the controversial question, “Are women the fatter sex?” The article talks about the major differences between men and women plus how the differences can be overcome.
If you have a favorite weight loss or fitness blog, share it by putting a link in the comments. Or, if you have your own weight loss or fitness blog, we’d love to read it and see how you’re doing.
